freeciv-client-sdl software package provides Civilization turn based strategy game (SDL client), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freeciv-client-sdl
freeciv-client-sdl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freeciv-client-sdl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freeciv-client-sdl *
You will get with freeciv-client-sdl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
